Welcome 2010!
What’s happening for the New Year at christapaige.com?
First off, there will be a bit of behind the scenes redecorating. Check back soon for a new website design. The re-vamp (yes pun intended) will incorporate my vampire series, the Blood-Vine and my new contemporary romance series featuring hunky L.A. County Sheriff’s detectives.
Second, now for a news flash: a few weeks into the New Year means another author blog-tour. Your destination to all things sensual, romantic and eye-candy delicious begins on Friday, January 15th. The tourist-map will be posted soon. Each site is sure to tantalize. The best thing about this blog-trip though, is that there are no long security lines you have to practically disrobe for. (But, due to the heat level of the tour stops, I can’t promise that you won’t voluntarily desire being disrobed!)
On to the Upcoming Release News.
I am so excited for Lucas and Katiya’s story to come out. Bound By Rebellion has been a wonderful journey of exploration for me as an author. Reuniting a couple who have been estranged for so long was not an easy task. Kat really did not want to work with me. Her independent streak butted heads with my plotting, while Luke’s impatience demanded that I hurry up and bring Kat home. It was a crazy wild ride. I am thrilled to introduce new characters into the Blood-Vine series and hope that you will enjoy this second installment as much as I did writing it.
So, I decided to try my hand at two genres. Toss in a holiday theme just to make it a wee bit more challenging. Sent it to crit partner who then said I needed to add more of everything. I went back to the drawing board and let the muses fly. The final draft of Irish Kiss was an absolute blast to write. I can not wait until readers meet Cassidy and Gavin. The caveat with this story is that I got to add my passion for classic muscle-cars into the storyline. Pairing that with actual cop-related experiences I and my cop-wives friends have had and it’s a scorching hot, yet thrilling adventure. Gavin and Cassidy’s forbidden relationship has reached a boiling point. Their pent up lust breaks free and passion reigns. Irish Kiss is a little bit wicked, has some humorous moments I completely adored writing and a seduction that spans the entire night of Saint Patrick’s Day. A celebration indeed.
Don’t you just love Romance in all its forms?
And that’s just for the first quarter of the New Year. I hope in the coming months there will be more good news to share with you.
